Avocado Deviled Eggs

A delightful recipe combining the richness of avocado with the savory taste of turkey bacon in deviled eggs.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs, cool under cold water, and peel.
  2. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
  3. In a bowl, mash the yolks with avocado, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in the crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. Spoon the mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Garnish with fresh chives.
  7. Serve immediately or chill before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the mixture.
