Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins That Will Warm Your Heart

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture, then mix in.
  6. Slowly add the flour while stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
