  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk and Cajun seasoning for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Fry the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lemon juice to create the garlic aioli.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by spreading garlic aioli on the bottom bun, adding crispy chicken, lettuce, and tomato, then topping with the other half of the bun.

Notes
