  • 1 pound chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons shawarma spice blend
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • ½ cup tahini sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken, shawarma spice blend, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
  3. Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest before slicing into strips.
  4. Warm the pita breads in a separate pan or microwave.
  5. Assemble the wrap by placing lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, and sliced chicken in the pita. Drizzle with tahini sauce and wrap tightly.
