  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 8 small tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, garlic, cumin, chili powder, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
  3. In another bowl, mix cabbage, mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, salt, and pepper to make the slaw.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on the tortillas and topping with creamy slaw.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add avocado or diced tomatoes as toppings.
  • This recipe can be made shrimp or chicken.
