  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin tin about 2/3 full with the batter.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon sugar mixture for the topping and swirl it into the batter in each muffin cup.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the muffins cool for a few minutes before drizzling with the powdered sugar glaze.
