  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Season the roast with salt and pepper. In a large dutch oven, sear the roast on all sides over medium-high heat.
  3. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Pour in the wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.
  5. Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
  6. Cover and transfer to the oven. Cook for about 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
