Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces tortellini
1 pound flank steak
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the flank steak with salt and pepper and sear in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
Remove steak from the skillet and let it rest before slicing into thin strips.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Add the cooked tortellini and sliced steak to the sauce, tossing to combine.
Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the steak before cooking.
Leftovers can be reheated in a skillet over low heat.
