Creamy Scalloped Potatoes

A delicious and creamy side dish that combines the richness of scalloped potatoes with the savory flavors of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Slice the potatoes thinly and layer half in the dish.
  4. Add half of the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  5. Sprinkle with garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  6. Pour half of the cream and broth over the layer.
  7. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Top with shredded cheese.
  9. Bake for 45-60 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  • Let it cool before serving to enhance the flavor.
