  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, cooled
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and espresso until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra indulgence, add a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking.
