An enjoyable twist on classic pastries, these cruffins are filled with savory turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 4 ounces chicken ham, chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and milk to form a dough.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut it into circles.
  5. Fill each circle with turkey bacon and chicken ham.
  6. Fold and shape into cruffins.
  7. Place in muffin tins and brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
