French Onion Chicken Orzo Casserole

A comforting and delicious casserole that combines French onion flavors with chicken and orzo pasta.

  • 2 cups cooked orzo
  • 1 pound shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked orzo, shredded chicken, French onion soup, sour cream, Swiss cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, olive oil, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
