High Protein Creamy Taco Soup

A delicious and nourishing high protein taco soup that’s perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. Add the ground turkey to the same pot and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in the onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add the black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and taco seasoning.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and combined.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped turkey bacon.
