Honey Lavender Ice Cream

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, whole milk, honey, and lavender over medium heat. Stir until the mixture is warm, and honey is dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove lavender buds. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  4. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until very cold.
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
