  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for crumb topping)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for crumb topping)
  • 2 tbsp butter, cold and cubed (for crumb topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well mixed.
  4. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients and stir.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined, then gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and cold butter for the crumb topping, and mix until crumbly.
  7. Fill the muffin tins with the batter and sprinkle the crumb topping over each muffin.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh blueberries.
  • You can substitute frozen blueberries, but do not thaw them before using.
