Mini Chocolate Chip Muffins

These mini chocolate chip muffins are a delicious and easy sweet treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: sour cream, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let them cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon.
  • These muffins can be frozen for up to 2 months.
