Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole

A delicious Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 8 slices bread
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  3. Add the mustard, pepper, and garlic powder to the egg mixture.
  4. Layer half of the bread slices in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread.
  6. Sprinkle half of the cheese, turkey bacon, and chicken ham on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a variety, you can substitute the turkey bacon for regular bacon.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the casserole.
