  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Add the Nutella and milk to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fill the cupcake liners about 2/3 full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.

Notes

  • For extra indulgence, top with whipped cream or additional Nutella.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
