  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 2 tablespoons shawarma spice blend
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Stir in the shawarma spice blend and cook for another minute.
  5. Add chicken thighs and brown on both sides.
