A delicious, cozy pumpkin roll recipe that’s easy to make and perfect for fall!

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until smooth.
  5. Spread the batter evenly on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool on a clean towel for a few minutes, then roll it up in the towel.
  8. While it cools, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  9. Unroll the cake, spread the cream cheese mixture over it, then roll it back up.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Dust the towel with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
