Samoas Cookie Pie

A delicious and indulgent twist on the beloved Samoas cookies, transformed into a pie for a decadent dessert experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pie pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  3. Add the butter, egg, and vanilla, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into the bottom of the pie pan evenly.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until set.
  6. In another bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, and caramel sauce.
  7. Spread the coconut mixture over the baked crust.
  8. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool and then drizzle with melted chocolate chips.
  10. Chill before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, sprinkle sea salt on top of the chocolate drizzle.
  • Make sure to let the pie cool completely before slicing for cleaner edges.
