- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
- 2 tbsp milk (for frosting)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
