  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in, skin-on
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups mixed slaw (cabbage, carrots, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine apple cider, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. While the chicken is baking, prepare the slaw by mixing the slaw, celery, and green onions in a large bowl.
  6. Serve the sticky chicken topped with the autumn slaw.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
