Tuscan Salmon with Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then place in the skillet.
  3. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add heavy cream and Italian seasoning, stirring well.
  7. Mix in the Parmesan cheese and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
  8. Return the salmon to the skillet to coat with sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
  • Serves well with vegetables or pasta.
