  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 1 cup peas, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain and let cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine tuna, peas, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, and mustard.
  4. Add the cooled pasta to the bowl with tuna and vegetables.
  5. Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
